Commission. Staff Report a.Finance Update b.Other Items Ms. Collins provided the HRC with a financial update. Commissioner Slade asked what happened to the funds if they were not used. Ms. Collins stated the unused funds were returned to the City’s General Fund. She let Youth Commissioner Dao know that the HRC had not been invoiced for the Rosefest Parade banner even though the amount had been accounted for in the Commissions balance. New Business d.Family Course on Mental Illness Chair Groff stated the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) would be offering a 12-week Family Course on Mental Illness. This will be held at North Heights Lutheran Church and if anyone needs additional details to contact Ms. Collins at kari.collins@ci.roseville.mn.us. He suggested Commissioner Slade look into this program and provide a report at a future Commission meeting. Commissioner Bachhuber asked if it would be appropriate to attend this type of event and not have a need. It should be determined if the course is for those seeking active assistance versus those seeking information (the HRC). Vice Chair Becker suggested Commissioner Slade talk to NAMI and look at what type of community programs they may have available. Future Agenda Items Ms. Collins stated the Commissioner had discussed having the Community Relations Coordinator come and talk to the HRC about PD outreach efforts. It was the consensuses of the Commission to request Ms. Collins schedule the Community Relations Coordinator for a future meeting.
