<br />1 J .Lighting: The height of light poles and fixtures shall comply with subsection <br />2 1010.12 of this title, and shall not exceed a height of twelve feet (12') within fifty <br />3 feet (50') of a residential property line, or twenty five feet (25') within one <br />4 hundred feet (100') of a residential property line. Light poles or fixtures may be a <br />5 maximum of forty feet (40') tall if more than one hundred feet (100') from a <br />6 residential property line and if completely screened by building, benn, or <br />7 landscape material with a minimum opacity of ninety percent (90%) to eye level <br />8 view of living spaces in homes within three hundred feet (300') of light source. <br />9 All lights not reasonably required for security or business operations must be <br />10 turned off between the hours often o'clock (10:00) P.M. and sunrise, or operated <br />11 by motion detectors so that they only turn on when there is activity nearby and <br />12 turn off shortly thereafter. <br /> <br />13 K.Other Requirements: <br /> <br />14 1. Certain Businesses In Shopping Center Districts To Be Enclosed: All business, <br />15 storage, service, repair or processing, box and crate storage or merchandise <br />16 display shall be conducted wholly within an enclosed building or behind a solid <br />17 fence not less than five feet (5') high except as allowed in subsection 100S.OIG of <br />18 this title. <br /> <br />19 2. Communication: All uses within the S-C district shall have, and must post on <br />20 the exterior premises, a phone number that will be answered by persons with <br />21 authority, including the shopping center manager and the individual store <br />22 manager, to respond to customer concerns or complaints during business hours or <br />23 when other related commercial activities occur, <br /> <br />24 3. Security: Commercial property owners will be responsible for providing <br />25 frequent and thorough security monitoring of commercial areas within three <br />26 hundred feet (300') of a residential district. <br /> <br />27 4. Site Maintenance: Commercial property owners shall be responsible for daily <br />28 site monitoring and site maintenance, including trash pickup in parking areas <br />29 bordering residential areas.
