Service delivery or noncustomer vehicles shall not be parked or staged within <br />2 three hundred feet (300') of a residential district, except when actively loading or <br />3 unloading. <br /> <br />4 3. In no case shall vehicle staging for unloading occur for more than twenty four <br />5 (24) hours on a site within any S-C district. <br /> <br />6 G.Off-Street Loading: Off-street loading shall be as listed in subsection 1005.0lF <br />7 of this title and servicing space shall be designated for each store unit in the <br />8 shopping district. Such loading space shall be designed so as not to conflict with <br />9 movement of vehicular traffic to and from parking areas. <br /> <br />10 1. Any commercial loading dock within three hundred feet (300') of a residential <br />11 district shall be completely screened by a wall, landscaped benn, fence, or <br />12 combination thereof from an adjacent residential area, from a point fourteen feet <br />13 (14') above the ground at the loading area to a point five feet (5') above the first <br />14 floor (main level) of adjacent residences. <br /> <br />15 2. Any commercial loading dock within three hundred feet (300') of a residential <br />16 district which is to be used for any reason by vehicles or equipment between the <br />17 hours often o'clock (10:00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. shall be within a <br />18 completely enclosed and roofed structure. All loading, and unloading, operations <br />19 shall occur with the exterior doors shut at all times. <br /> <br />20 H.Maintenance Activities: Movement of sweeping vehicles, garbage trucks, <br />21 maintenance trucks, shopping carts, and other service vehicles and equipment is <br />22 prohibited within three hundred feet (300') of a residential district between the <br />23 hours often o'clock (10:00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M., except for, <br />24 emergency vehicles and emergency utility or maintenance activities. Except in the <br />25 case of emergency, all snow removal operations within three hundred feet (300') <br />26 of an adjacent residential district shall be undertaken consistent with a snow <br />27 management plan that must be submitted to and approved by the city. The plan <br />28 must include measures to minimize removal activity during the hours often <br />29 o'clock (10:00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. consistent with public safety <br />30 requirements. The plan must also address the location and management of short- <br />31 tenn and long-tenn storage of snow on-site and off-site. <br /> <br />32 I.Equipment Restrictions: All ground-mounted or roof-mounted equipment, <br />33 automatic doors, speaker systems, gas pumps, car washes, vehicle vacuum <br />34 cleaners, air hoses, or other noise sources within three hundred feet (300') of a <br />35 residential area must be completely screened to a point five feet (5') above the <br />36 first floor of adjacent residences. Outdoor speaker systems or other public address <br />37 systems which can be heard outside are not allowed to be used between the hours <br />38 often o'clock (10:00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. within three hundred <br />39 feet (300') of a residential district, even if screened. <br /> <br />5 <br />
