Identify (in batches of 4 to 8) the error or inconsistency and the historical record <br />from City files. Staff will attempt to put together batches from the same Planning <br />District (there are 15) in order to provide a simpler context for review. <br /> <br />2. Review the historical record on each case through use of City files. Discuss in <br />detail with the Zoning Committee. <br /> <br />3. Notify the property owner and meet with each owner to explain the dilemma <br />and the possible solutions. Seek comment and property owner records that may <br />clarify the situation. <br /> <br />4. Schedule necessary public hearings with the Planning Commission and the City <br />Council. <br /> <br />5. Hold the hearings for one Planning District at a time with the Planning <br />Commission and notify property owners within 350 of each case. <br /> <br />6. After the hearing and a recommendation by the Planning Commission, schedule <br />a meeting agenda slot for the next available City Council meeting. <br /> <br />7. After the Council decision, publish the ordinance correction, OR send the change <br />in the Comprehensive Plan to the Metropolitan Council for a minor amendment <br />review. <br /> <br />8.
