<br />E. Building Height: Building height shall not be greater than forty five feet (45') in <br />any industrial district. <br />F. Off-Street PARKING: Off-street PARKING shall be provided as follows in all <br />industrial districts: <br />1. Size Of Off-Street PARKING Areas: Space for a single vehicle shall be nine feet <br />by eighteen feet (9' x 18') or larger, provided up to fifty percent (50%) of the required <br />spaces may be not less than eight feet by eighteen feet (8' x 18') when posted "Compact <br />Vehicles Only". Aisles for ingress and egress shall be provided and shall be a maximum <br />of twenty four feet (24') in width. <br />2. Number Of Off-Street PARKING Spaces: There shall be two (2) car PARKING <br />spaces for every three (3) employees necessary to operate a full shift at design capacity or <br />one space for each one thousand (1,000) square feet of floor area, whichever is greater. <br />The requirements regarding number of PARKING spaces for industrial <br />warehouse and storage uses, as set forth in subsection 1005.01D21 and D2m of this Code, <br />are incorporated herein by reference. <br />3. Van Pooling Programs: Where a van pooling program exists for employees of a <br />user of property in an industrial district and such program reduces the need for <br />PARKING spaces, the number of PARKING spaces not needed because of such <br />program may be reduced from the requirements of subsection F2 above. Space sufficient <br />to accommodate such reduced number of PARKING spaces shall be maintained as open <br />space and shall be converted to PARKING spaces in the event that the program is <br />terminated or if its effectiveness in reducing PARKING space needs drops. Approyal <br />and continuation of such reduced PARKING space plan shall be made by the Inspection <br />Superintendent. <br />G. Off-Street Loading Space: One loading space shall be provided in all industrial <br />districts in connection with all buildings or additions erected haying a gross floor area of <br />ten thousand (10,000) square feet or more, which is to be occupied by a use or uses <br />requiring the receipt or distribution by yehicles of material. One additional space shall be <br />provided for each twenty thousand (20,000) square feet or major fraction thereof over the <br />original ten thousand (10,000) square feet. <br />No loading berth for vehicles over two (2) ton capacity shall be closer than one <br />hundred feet (100') to any residence district unless screened by building walls not less <br />than eight feet (8') in height. <br /> <br />1008.05: REQUIRED STANDARDS: <br />The City shall consider the proposed PUD from the point of view of all standards and <br />purposes of the Comprehensive Land Use Plan to achieve a maximum coordination <br />between the proposed development and the surrounding uses, the conservation of <br />woodlands and wetlands, the protection of health, safety and welfare of the community <br />and residents ofthe PUD. To these ends, the City Council shall consider the location of <br />the buildings, compatibility, PARKING areas and other features with respect to the <br />topography of the area and existing natural features such as streams and large trees; the - <br />efficiency, adequacy and safety of the proposed layout of internal streets and driveways; <br />the adequacy and location of green areas; the adequacy, location and screening of <br />PARKING areas; and such other matters as the City Council may find to have a material <br /> <br />17 <br />
