Improve Pupil Learning: <br /> <br />. Classroom size of not more than 20 students (15 for kindergarten), allowing <br />the teacher to develop a keen sense of learning ability and positive <br />communication with the student and his/her family. <br /> <br />. A seven (7) hour class day provides an even balance of classroom learning .1I1d <br />extracurricular activities, <br /> <br />. Parent-teacher conferences every six: (6) weeks, consistent with the grading <br />period. <br /> <br />. Pre-testing of the student's academic and developmental abilities is essentiJ! to <br />develop an accurate individual learning plan, (Testing will then be done <br />annually to measure the student's outcomes,) <br /> <br />II. Increase Learning Opportunities for Pupils: <br /> <br />. On-site learning labs staffed with specialists to enable gifted and challenged <br />students to develop to their ma.x1mLUTI ability (i.e. speech, occupational and <br />physical therapists, special education teachers and para-professionals <br />associated with the sponsor, ISD #916). <br /> <br />.
