EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 10th day of June, 2002, at 6:30 p.m.. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE AT 2154 LEXINGTON AVENUE, CITY OF ROSEVILLE WHREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville finds the property located at 2154 Lexington Avenue to be a public nuisance within the meaning of City Code Sections 407.02 and 407.03 because the property has an accumulation of trash, debris, brush and outside storage of old equipment and the structure is inadequately maintained, dilapidated and damaged such that its physical condition and appearance detract from the surrounding neighborhood as being unsightly and adversely affecting property values in neighborhood pattern; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deems it to be in the public interest to abate the nuisance and, pursuant to City Code Section 407.07, assess the property for the cost of said abatement; and, WHEREAS, the estimated cost of abatement is $5,775.00. All of these costs would be assessed to the property after completion of the project, payable through the property tax statement The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. \ \ Victoria \CommDev\Abatements\Resolution_2154 Lexington ave061002.doc
