<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 10th day of June, 2002, at 6:30 p.m.. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Council <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE AT <br />2154 LEXINGTON AVENUE, CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville finds the property <br />located at 2154 Lexington Avenue to be a public nuisance within the meaning of <br />City Code Sections 407.02 and 407.03 because the property has an accumulation <br />of trash, debris, brush and outside storage of old equipment and the structure is <br />inadequately maintained, dilapidated and damaged such that its physical <br />condition and appearance detract from the surrounding neighborhood as being <br />unsightly and adversely affecting property values in neighborhood pattern; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville deems it to be in the <br />public interest to abate the nuisance and, pursuant to City Code Section 407.07, <br />assess the property for the cost of said abatement; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the estimated cost of abatement is $5,775.00. All of these costs <br />would be assessed to the property after completion of the project, payable <br />through the property tax statement <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />\ \ Victoria \CommDev\Abatements\Resolution_2154 Lexington ave061002.doc <br />
