<br />~SIMbbE <br />Community Development Department <br /> <br />Memo <br /> <br />To: Complaint File COI-232 <br />From: Don Munson, Codes Coordinator <br />Date: 06/05/2002 (Revised 6-4-02) <br />Re: Chronology of Compliance Efforts. <br /> <br />Following are efforts undertaken by Staff to secure Code Compliance at the property located <br />at 2154 Lexington Ave. which is currently a public nuisance due to it's deteriorated condition <br />as well as junk/debris on the site. <br /> <br />1999 Complaint (C99 - 432) grass over 8". <br />2000 Complaint (COO - 168) grass over 8". <br />Complaint (COO - 170) grass over 8". <br />Complaint (COO - 309) abandoned junk vehicle on site. <br />2001 Complaint (COl- 232) grass over 8" tall and building in disrepair. <br />. 6-13-01, sent notice of grass over 8" and requested debris <br />on site be removed. <br />. 6-13-01, posted site - in preparation of cutting vegetation. <br />. 6-19-01, City contracted to abate grass violation. <br />. 7-16-01, grass again over 8". <br />. 9-1-01, following notification City again cut grass. <br />. 11-16-01, notified owner the building had also deteriorated <br />and requested they perform maintenance in addition to <br />removing afore mentioned debris. No response. <br />. 1-10-02 notified owner the building and site continued to <br />be a public nuisance and requested repairs and cleanup <br />within 30 days. No response. <br />. 2-25-02, site inspection and photographs. No <br />improvements performed <br />. 4-10-02, sent certified letter to owner and contact person <br />requesting violations listed be corrected within 15 days or <br />abatement would be initiated. No response. <br />. 4-26-02, site inspection and photographs. No <br />improvements performed. <br /> <br />. Page 1 <br />
