o Code compliance items in the rear yard include: ./ Brush pile, tires, debris under deck, old gates and old swing set (junk); ./ Firewood not stacked; ./ Shed rusted with bent doors. 1.5 The property owner has met with City staff and indicated they wish to perform many of the repairs by contracting the work out. 2.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION. 2.1 Staff recommends that the Council approve abatement of identified City Code violations with costs not to exceed those listed. 2.2 Staff further recommends actions toward repair not be commenced until after August 1, 2000, in order for the property owner to perform the repairs and avoid abatement.
