<br />3404261 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, Minnesota, a Ramsey County, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit for US <br />West Wireless to allow the construction of a 67- foot tall monopole and associated four <br />foot by ten foot equipment area (cabinets) in the rear (west side) yard area of the <br />Countryside Restaurant, 2851 Snelling Avenue North, be approved, subject the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. The maximum height above grade at the monopole base shall be 67 feet. <br />One antenna at the size specified in the application may be installed on the <br />monopole. <br /> <br />2. A prefabricated set of equipment cabinets may be installed near the base <br />of the monopole. All utility wires or lines leading to the monopole shall <br />be buried. <br /> <br />3. The area surrounding the ground equipment should be used to screen the <br />equipment cabinets from view. Specifically, plant material should be <br />installed on the north, west, and south sides of the equipment area having <br />a minimum height of five feet (except accent shrubs); 75% ofthis plant <br />screen should be coniferous. A complete landscape plan must be prepared <br />as part of the building permit application and approved by the City prior to <br />issuance of the building permit. <br /> <br />4. The monopole is to be limited to the single user/applicant (US West <br />Wireless). Future antenna additions will require a revised CUP. <br /> <br />5. The monopole shall not be lighted. Electric and phone wires serving the <br />equipment and monopole shall be buried. The reinstalled parking lot light <br />shall serve as security lighting. <br /> <br />6. The 67 foot tall monopole and supporting equipment shall be completely <br />removed from the site by the applicant (US West Wireless) after <br />operations cease; the equipment is damaged or unsafe as determined by <br />the Roseville Building Official; the CUP elapses or is determined to be in <br />violation by the Community Development Director. The City may require <br />the applicant (US West Wireless) to post a bond to assure timely removal <br />of the monopole and supporting equipment. <br /> <br />7. Parking of maintenance vehicles shall occur in an off-street parking space <br />directly adjacent to the monopole location. <br /> <br />8. The color of the supporting equipment cabinets shall be of a similar color <br />to that of the principal structure. <br /> <br />"If <br /> <br />~ <br />
