HRA Meeting <br />Minutes – Tuesday, August 19, 2014 <br />Page 4 <br />1 <br />Motion: Member Majerus moved, seconded by Member Masche to adopt RHRA <br />2 <br />Resolution No. 58 (Attachment B) entitled, “A Resolution Adopting a Tax Levy in 2014 <br />3 <br />Collectible in 2015;” in the amount of $741,498.00. <br />4 <br />5 <br />Ayes: 4 <br />6 <br />Nays: 0 <br />7 <br />Motion carried. <br />8 <br />9 <br />Chair Maschka noted that this was the preliminary levy at the maximum request; and further <br />10 <br />refinement could be done if needed before final adoption in December. <br />11 <br />12 <br />9. Information Reports and Other Business (Verbal Reports by Staff and Board Members) <br />13 <br />14 <br />a.Update on Hotel/Motel Study and Southeast Roseville Study <br />15 <br />Ms. Kelsey advised that the HRA was fortunate to receive word that both of these projects had <br />16 <br />been taken on as student projects. <br />17 <br />18 <br />b.Dale Street Project Update <br />19 <br />Ms. Kelsey reported that the parties are hopefully getting closer to a development agreement, <br />20 <br />with the remaining challenge being that of financing as financial institutions have become very <br />21 <br />conservative in lending practices since the economic crisis of several years ago. <br />22 <br />23 <br />Other <br />24 <br />At the request of Chair Maschka, Ms. Kelsey provided a brief update on the proposed Sherman <br />25 <br />development project, and pending grant applications. <br />26 <br />27 <br />10.
