The hedge or fence shall be no less than six (6) nor more <br />than six and one-half feet (6 %') in height. " <br /> <br />2.8 Dennis Welsch met with the Lake Ridge representatives during the week of August 11 to <br />evaluate other alternative designs. A second design (Concept B) has beenprepared for staff <br />and Council review. This concept would move the parking at least 100 feet to the east of the <br />residential property line and reduce the excavation to less than 5,000 C.B. (See the attached <br />concept.) <br /> <br />2.9 On August 21, 1997, the engineering staff reviewed Concept B and prepared comments for <br />the applicant, the applicant's consultant, and the Council (See attachment). <br /> <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />3.1 Based on the amount of material to be excavated from the site and the size of the parcel, <br />the City Code requires City Council approval for an excavation permit for Concept A but not <br />for Concept B.
