The employment of
the firm of Rafferty Rafferty Mjkutowski and Associates was a part
of this program. That orgCU1izat~on has been involved with this site
for approximately ten years. Their experience with the physical char-
acteristics of the site and their knowledge of the planning r~~irements
of the various governmental bodies involved, as well as the knowledge of
the concerns of the local reaidents, have been invaluable in developing
a quality project which meets the needs of all concerned.

The tree-lined shore of Zimmerman Lake will be preserved in accordance
with the plan. To the greatest extent possible all other trees on the
site will be preserved and protected. The landscaping plan will supple-
ment to the greatest degree possible those trees which are lost to parking
and building requirements. Building materials will be selected which will
emphasize the environmental qualities of the site. It is felt that the
building design itself is highly compatible with the amenities of the
site.

Traffic studies indicato that the operation of this facility, even during
pe~k traffic hours, will only approach 58\ of the capacity of County
Road B-2.

We request the favorable conside~ation of the Planning Commission and the
City Council.

Respectfully submitted by:

~. -- si(;~,

Richard ~y, '~D.
'",

A,ccepted by:

~T
Tcr}~~~
