<br />September 5,2002; Additions on September 11,2002 by Dennis Welsch. <br /> <br />Here are the three items that still need clarification from Mark Fuller (952-835-9000) <br />and our staff before the Mobile Home document is ready for signatures. Answers <br />shown in RED could simply be added to the sections of the PUD agreement. <br /> <br />9.07 Replacement Mobile Homes or Manufactured Home Units. Units and accessory <br />structures which replace existing or dilapidated units, or fill vacant pre-existing (prior to <br />the approval date of this PUD) lots shall not reduce the setback established by the <br />previous unit. <br /> <br />Comment from Mark Fuller: Can future replacement units be pre-existing units from <br />the site or brought in from off site? Dennis' and Don's answer: A replacement units <br />defined as any unit that carries the HUD seal and must be inspected before being brought <br />to the site for l!fe-safet)~ building, and energy/utility code compliance. The installation of <br />replacement units will require a City of Roseville building permit. lvfam!factwed home <br />installations must comply with Chapter 1350 of the Ivfinnesota State Building Code. Units <br />cannot be occupied until after a Certificate of Occupancy is issued. <br /> <br />9.10 Emergency Shelter. An emergency shelter shall be required as described in <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 327.20 Subd.l (7) and Minnesota Rules, Chapter <br />1370. The shelter shall meet City Building and Fire Code structural and life <br />safety/access requirements. The occupant capacity of the shelter shall be <br />established as follows: Total residents times .80 times 4 s.f. per occupant. At the <br />time of approval of this PUD, the emergency shelter occupancy capacity shall be <br />140 occupants within a minimum sheltered space of 560 s.f. The City Building <br />Official, Fire Marshall, and Civil Defense Director shall annually (November) <br />inspect the existing shelter facility for compliance with life/safety codes. <br /> <br />Comment from Mark Fuller: What language can be added to describe the type of <br />inspection to be done - he had asked for this earlier from staff. John Loftus' answer: <br /> <br />These inspections shall address Fire and Lifc Safety issues relating to maintenance and <br />upkeep of fire extinguishers, exit lighting, emergency lighting, exiting, and required <br />separations between exit access and hazardous areas. These inspections shall also address <br />any and all related life safety issues identified at the time of the inspection. <br /> <br />9.11 Buffer Zone. A buffer zone consisting of evergreen vegetation and/or fence screening <br />materials within the required side and rear setback areas adjacent to the western and <br />southern residential districts shall be installed as illustrated within the site development <br />and landscape plan. <br /> <br />1 <br />
