<br />9. Removal of Material from the Site <br /> <br />All salvage materials, equipment and/or debris remaining on the grounds of the site shall be the <br />property ofthe contractor and removed ITom the premises and shall not be stored, burned or buried on <br />the site. <br /> <br />The contractor shall completely remove all building materials and debris ITom the site including all <br />concrete sidewalks up to the parking lot, footings, floors on grade or below grade and foundations <br />unless othetwise specified. The parking lot, sidewalks along the perimeter of the parking lot, curbing <br />and exterior play equipment shall not be removed, disturbed or damage as part ofthe demolition of the <br />building and its materials. No burial of materials will be permitted on the site. <br /> <br />10. Inspections and Final Grade!Filling <br /> <br />The entire site shall be finished to uniform grade consistent with the surrounding area. Excess earth <br />on the site may be used to fill any excavations or depressions. The contractor shal I bring in suitable <br />f1l1 if on-site material is not adequate. No debris shall be placed as fill on the site. The contractor <br />must take such measures as may be necessary to control dust on the site during the duration of the <br />contract. In addition, the contractor must provide adequate erosion control during the duration of the <br />contract. <br /> <br />The contractor must schedule an inspection by a City ofRoseville Building Inspector prior to any <br />back-fill of excavations and inspect utility disconnection. Failure to do so will result in re -excavation <br />at no additional compensation. <br /> <br />The contractor will be required to seed the fmal graded site per the specification of the City Landscape <br />Architect, which requires a 4-inch topsoil base and a mix of rye grass seed and mulch. <br /> <br />11. Default and Cancellation <br /> <br />In the event that the contractor violates any of the provisions of the specification, the City ofRoseville <br />may terminate the contract by written notice to the contractor. In such event, the City ofRoseville <br />may take over the work and prosecute to completion, and the contractor shall be liable to the City of <br />Roseville for any excess costs occasioned by the City of Rose vi lie thereby. <br /> <br />12. Completion of Work <br /> <br />All work must be completed by November 15, 2000. At the discretion of the City of Rose vi lIe, a <br />reasonable extension of time may be granted if such extension is in the interest of the City or if <br />conditions of weather appear to warrant such an extension. <br /> <br />13.
