My husband and I totally support Ms. Sandy Armbrust's desire to place an addition onto her
house. We are glad to see our neighbors also working to help improve the quality of housing and property
in our neighborhood. We have enjoyed being part of the Roseville community, mostly because of
neighbors like Sandy, who work hard to make the neighborhood look nice and feel secure.

As I was reading your letter informing us of the change in our neighborhood, I noticed that the letter was
addressed to "Roseville Property Owner" and the envelope was addressed only to my husband, "Mark
Petersen." Why would a letter such as this only be addressed to one property owner at the address? I can
only assume that this was an oversight in your department and that normally letters concerning changes in
property are addressed to ALL property owners at each household. Since my name also appears on the
deed to our house, I do believe I am also granted rights to speak at the Roseville Development Review
Committee's Setback Permit Hearing on Thursday, September 7,2000 if I so desired.

I graciously accept your apology on this matter and will again assume that all further correspondence
concerning OUR property at 2201 Merrill Street will be addressed to my husband AND me.

Thank you for your time.

VidJxJJ~

Karen Vidlock Petersen
Property Owner and Taxpayer
City of Roseville
