Call to Order <br />1 <br />Chair Boerigter called to order the regular meeting of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />2 <br />approximately 6:30 p.m. and reviewed the role and purpose of the Planning Commission. <br />3 <br />2. Review of Minutes <br />11 <br />October 3, 2012 Regular Meeting Minutes <br />12 <br />MOTION <br />13 <br />Member Boguszewski moved, seconded by Member Gisselquist to approve October 3, <br />14 <br />2012 meeting minutes as presented. <br />15 <br />Ayes: 4 <br />16 <br />Nays: 0 <br />17 <br />Motion carried. <br />18 <br />4. From the Commission or Staff <br />22 <br />None. <br />23 <br />5. Public Hearings <br />24 <br />Chair Boerigter reviewed the protocol for Public Hearings and subsequent process. <br />25 <br />a. PLANNING FILE 07-006 <br />26 <br />Request by United Properties for approval of VACATION and rededication of a <br />27 <br />drainage easement to accommodate the final phase of development at 1996 <br />28 <br />Langton Lake Drive <br />29 <br />Chair Boerigter opened the Public Hearing for File 07-006 at approximately 6:33 p.m. <br />30 <br />Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd briefly reviewed the request of United Properties for <br />31 <br />vacation of an existing drainage and utility easement and rededication of a new <br />32 <br />easement to facilitate Phase II of the Applewood Pointe at Langton Lake senior <br />33 <br />cooperative residential development, adjacent to 1996 Langton Lake Drive. <br />34 <br />Mr. Lloyd advised that the Public Works/Engineering staff had reviewed the proposed <br />35 <br />vacation and rededication of the drainage and utility easement as illustrated; and the only <br />36 <br />condition for approval recommended is that the applicant continue to work with Public <br />37 <br />Works staff to ensure that the permanent storm water facilities and new drainage <br />38 <br />easement are appropriately designed and dedicated. <br />39 <br />Discussion included distinctions between temporary drainage and easement compared to <br />40 <br />permanent design during and after construction. <br />41 <br /> <br />
