PROJECT FILE 0003 56 Request by the Planning Division for approval of a ZONING TEXT CHANGE to 57 repeal the entirety of the invalidated Twin Lakes Overlay District – Chapter 1022 of 58 the Roseville Zoning Ordinance 59 Chair Boerigter opened the Public Hearing for Project File 0003 at approximately 6:38 60 p.m. 61 City Planner Thomas Paschke briefly reviewed the background of the Twin Lakes 62 Overlay District, and subsequent court finding that it was invalid and unenforceable; as 63 detailed in the staff report dated November 7, 2012. 64 Chair Boerigter noted that Section 1.1 of the staff report had an error in the date of 65 Ordinance 1417 adoption, correcting it from 2012 to 2011. 66 Chair Boerigter closed the Public Hearing for File 003 at approximately 6:40 p.m.; with no 67 one appearing for or against. 68 MOTION 69 Member Olsen moved, seconded by Member Boerigter to recommend to the City 70 Council APPROVAL of the request to eliminate in its entirety Chapter 1022 or the 71 Zoning Ordinance regarding Overlay district Twin Lakes. 72 Ayes: 4 73 Nays: 0 74 Motion carried. 75 c. PLANNING FILE 0017 76 Request by the Planning Division for approval of a ZONING TEXT CHANGE to 77 several sections of City Code Title 10 (Zoning) for the correction of typographical 78 and punctuation errors 79 Chair Boerigter opened the Public Hearing for File 0017 at approximately 6:41 p.m. 80 Associate Planner Bryan Lloyd briefly reviewed the request to correct simple errors in 81 syntax, organization, and punctuation based on day-to-day use of the Zoning Code; as 82 detailed in the staff report dated November 7, 2012. 83 Chair Boerigter closed the Public Hearing for File 0017 at approximately 6:43 p.m.; with 84 no one appearing for or against. 85 MOTION 86 Member Boerigter moved, seconded by Member Gisselquist to recommend to the 87 City Council APPROVAL of the ZONING TEXT CHANGE as presented; based on the 88 comments and findings of Sections 4-6 and the recommendation of Section 7 of 89 the staff report dated November 6, 2012. 90
