Planning Commission Regular Meeting City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive Minutes - Wednesday, December 05, 2012 1. Call to Order 1 Chair Boerigter called to order the regular meeting of the Planning Commission meeting at 2 approximately 6:30 p.m. and reviewed the role and purpose of the Planning Commission. 3 2. Roll Call & Introduction 4 At the request of Chair Boerigter, City Planner Thomas Paschke called the Roll. 5 Members Present: Chair Daniel Boerigter; and Members Gerald (Jim) Olsen; 6 Michael Boguszewski; Jeff Lester; Peter Strohmeier and Shannon 7 Cunningham 8 Members Excused: Vice Chair Gisselquist 9 Staff Present: City Planner Thomas Paschke and Associate Planner Bryan 10 Lloyd 11 3. Review of Minutes 12 November 7, 2012 Regular Meeting Minutes 13 MOTION 14 Member Boguszewski moved, seconded by Member Olsen to approve November 7, 15 2012 meeting minutes as presented. 16 Ayes: 4 17 Nays: 0 18 Abstentions: 2 (Strohmeier and Cunningham) 19 Motion carried. 20 4. Communications and Recognitions: 21 a. From the Public (Public Comment on items not on the agenda) 22 No one appeared to speak at this time. 23 b. From the Commission or Staff 24 City Planner Thomas Paschke advised that he had an informational report related 25 to proposed City Code text amendments for brief discussion following the 26 business item. 27 5. Commission Business 28 2013 Planning Commission Meeting Schedule 29 At the request of Chair Boerigter, and with review and concurrence by Members, the only 30 change to the proposed schedule was for the July 2013 meeting, moving it from July 3 to 31 the following week, July 10, 2012, in consideration of the Independence Day holiday. Staff 32 concurred, noting that if necessary, the July meeting could also be cancelled if no cases 33 came forward necessitating a meeting, but for the time being it could be kept on the 34 schedule. 35 The remaining scheduled dates appeared to present no conflicts. 36
