<br />Planning Commission Regular Meeting <br />City Council Chambers, 2660 Civic Center Drive <br />Minutes - Wednesday, December 05, 2012 <br />1. Call to Order <br />1 <br />Chair Boerigter called to order the regular meeting of the Planning Commission meeting at <br />2 <br />approximately 6:30 p.m. and reviewed the role and purpose of the Planning Commission. <br />3 <br />2. Roll Call & Introduction <br />4 <br />At the request of Chair Boerigter, City Planner Thomas Paschke called the Roll. <br />5 <br />Members Present: <br /> Chair Daniel Boerigter; and Members Gerald (Jim) Olsen; <br />6 <br />Michael Boguszewski; Jeff Lester; Peter Strohmeier and Shannon <br />7 <br />Cunningham <br />8 <br />Members Excused: <br />Vice Chair Gisselquist <br />9 <br />Staff Present: <br /> City Planner Thomas Paschke and Associate Planner Bryan <br />10 <br />Lloyd <br />11 <br />3. Review of Minutes <br />12 <br />November 7, 2012 Regular Meeting Minutes <br />13 <br />MOTION <br />14 <br />Member Boguszewski moved, seconded by Member Olsen to approve November 7, <br />15 <br />2012 meeting minutes as presented. <br />16 <br />Ayes: 4 <br />17 <br />Nays: 0 <br />18 <br />Abstentions: 2 (Strohmeier and Cunningham) <br />19 <br />Motion carried. <br />20 <br />4. Communications and Recognitions: <br />21 <br />a. From the Public (Public Comment on items not on the agenda) <br />22 <br />No one appeared to speak at this time. <br />23 <br />b. From the Commission or Staff <br />24 <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke advised that he had an informational report related <br />25 <br />to proposed City Code text amendments for brief discussion following the <br />26 <br />business item. <br />27 <br />5. Commission Business <br />28 <br />2013 Planning Commission Meeting Schedule <br />29 <br />At the request of Chair Boerigter, and with review and concurrence by Members, the only <br />30 <br />change to the proposed schedule was for the July 2013 meeting, moving it from July 3 to <br />31 <br />the following week, July 10, 2012, in consideration of the Independence Day holiday. Staff <br />32 <br />concurred, noting that if necessary, the July meeting could also be cancelled if no cases <br />33 <br />came forward necessitating a meeting, but for the time being it could be kept on the <br />34 <br />schedule. <br />35 <br />The remaining scheduled dates appeared to present no conflicts. <br />36 <br /> <br />
