In addition to the increased green space, the Veritas site
will utilize infiltration areas. These infiltration areas will capture
stormwater runoff from the surface parking allowing for the runoff to
infiltrate into the ground and sediments to be collected in the infiltration
areas. The implementation of the infiltration areas will also result in a
reduction in the quantity of runoff from the Veritas site and total runoff
identified in the 1997 EA W.

A regional stormwater pond located just south of the site has been
sufficiently designed to handle the site runoff. The proposed site will
produce a peak flow of approximately 67.35-CFS and a total quantity of
6.81 acre-feet for a 100-year event. Every attempt has been made to
maximize the areas where surface runoff can flow to infiltration beds.
These actions will properly pre-treat drainage to the wetlands. The overall
design has met the water quality standards as accepted by Rice Creek
Watershed District.

b. Identify the route(s) and receiving water bodies for runoff from the
site. Estimate the impact of the runoff on the quality of the receiving
waters. (If the runoff may affect a lake consult" EA W Guidelines"
about whether a nutrient budget analysis is needed.)

The site will drain to the existing regional stormwater pond through the
storm sewer system. The regional pond will drain to DNR Wetland 50- W
(a MnDNR pond south of the regional pond). Wetland 50-W has a
drainage area of about 504-acres, which includes approximately 19-acres
from the Veritas site. The existing regional stormwater pond has been
designed, constructed and improved by the City of Roseville and the Rice
Creek Watershed District to accept the fUnofffrom the site. The
infiltration beds and regional pond will treat the quality of the receiving
waters. The quality of wetland 50- W is not anticipated to be adversely
affected by this project.

Water Quality - Waste Waters:
a. Describe sources, quantities, and composition (except for normal
domestic sewage) of all sanitary and industrial wastewater produced
or treated at the site.

This site is proposed as a total integrated corporate campus. This would
include office uses and a cafeteria. These uses produce normal domestic
sewage.

Page 17
