1 No immediate (5 years or less) upgrades are planned for this portion of Highway 36, <br />2 except potentially a rebuild of the Lexington Avenue Bridge and ramps. No sound walls <br />3 or barriers are currently proposed. <br />4 <br />5 The Community Development Department recommended approval of a 2 foot to 4 foot <br />6 Variance to Section 1012.02B2 of the Roseville City Code for Jean and Nasim Ayub, 936 <br />7 Highway, based on the findings in Section 5 and compliance with the following <br />8 conditions: <br />9 <br /> <br />a. <br />10 The fence must not exceeding a height of 8 feet measured from the <br />11 existing grade to top of fence along the north side (front) of the property <br />12 and 6 feet along the east (front side lot line) and west (front side lot line) <br />13 of the front yard.. <br />14 <br /> <br />b. <br />15 The fence must be of an earthen tone to match with vegetation and lawns <br />16 in the area. If there is a more finished side to the fence, that side must face <br />17 the two adjoining neighbors’ lots. <br />18 <br /> <br />c. <br />19 The applicant must stake the side property lines from property corners <br />20 throughout the area along the side lot lines where the fence will be <br />21 installed. <br />22 <br />23 Jean Ayub, 936 Highway 36, asked that there could be a finished side seen from the <br />24 applicant’s lot.
