<br />4. No vehicle shall be parked or allowed to stand in any area of such parking lot <br />which has been designated or is used for a lane for moving traffic so as to <br />interfere with the movement of traffic. (602.1DO) <br /> <br />5. No motor vehicle shall be parked or allowed to stand in such a lot at a curb <br />which is painted yellow. (602.10E) <br /> <br />6. No motor vehicle shall be parked or allowed to stand in such a lot in front of <br />any entrance to any business open to public patronage. (602.10F) <br /> <br />Section 13. Unattended Motor Vehicles <br /> <br />A. Manner of Parking: Any vehicle parked at any time in any part of the City shall be <br />parked with the right-hand side parallel to the curb or edge of the street and not <br />more than one foot (1 ') from the curb or edge of the street leaving at least four feet <br />(4') between parked vehicles except where marks or signs on the streets indicate <br />that cars shall be parked at an angle. (602.04A) <br /> <br />B. Double Parking: Vehicles shall not stand two (2) or more abreast in any street <br />except in the case of commercial vehicles when calling for or delivering parcels <br />or merchandise such commercial vehicle may double park for the length of time <br />absolutely and reasonably necessary to load or unload when access to the curb is <br />blocked by other vehicles at the place of delivery. (602.04B) <br /> <br />c. Time Limitations: No truck with a capacity of over two (2) tons shall be parked <br />on any street for more than ninety (90) minutes or for the time necessary to load <br />or unload such truck. (602.10C) <br /> <br />D. Parking on Private Property: No vehicle shall be parked or left standing upon the <br />private property of any person without the consent of the property owner. (Ord. <br />270, 1-27-58) <br /> <br />Section 14. Special Parking Provisions or Districts <br /> <br />A. Van Pooling Programs; Reduction Of Parking Spaces Required: Where a van <br />pooling program exists for employees of a user of property in a business district <br />and such program reduces the need for parking spaces, the number of parking <br />spaces not needed because of such program may be reduced from the <br />requirements. Space sufficient to accommodate such reduced number of parking <br />spaces shall be maintained as open space and shall be converted to parking spaces <br />in the event that the program is tenninated or its effectiveness in reducing parking <br />space needs drops. Approval and continuation of such reduced parking space plan <br />shall be made by the Community Development Director. (l005.0ID4) <br /> <br />20 <br />
