<br />4.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />4.1 Staff recommends approval of the interim use permit request by the Ramsey County <br />Department of Public Health to allow the operation of a satellite household hazard waste <br />site in the 1700 block of Kent Street and located on County property previously improved <br />for such use, subject to: <br /> <br />A. The interim use permit shall be reviewed administratively on an annual basis on <br />the anniversary date of the resolution granting the interim use permit, with a staff <br />report submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council as needed. <br /> <br />5.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />5.1 On Wednesday, May 9,2001, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public <br />hearing regarding Ramsey County's request for an interim use permit at their Kent Street <br />property. No individuals addressed the Commission. <br /> <br />5.2 The Planning Commission recommended (5-0) to approve the five year interim use <br />permit requested by the Ramsey County Department of Public Health to allow the <br />operation of a satellite household hazard waste collection facility in the 1700 block of <br />Kent Street (located on County property adjacent (southwest) to the Community <br />Corrections facility), subject to: <br /> <br />A. The interim use permit being limited to five years; and <br />B. The interim use permit being reviewed administratively on an annual basis on the <br />anniversary date of the resolution granting the interim use permit, with a staff <br />report submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council as needed. <br /> <br />6.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />6.1 By motion approve (approve with modifications or deny) the five vear interim use permit <br />requested by the Ramsey County Department of Public Health to allow the operation of a <br />satellite household hazard waste collection site in the 1700 block of Kent Street (located <br />on County property adjacent (southwest) to the Community Corrections facility), subject <br />to: The interim use permit being reviewed administratively on an annual basis on the <br />anniversary date of the resolution granting the interim use permit, with a staff report <br />submitted to the Planning Commission and City Council as needed. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Property location map; aerial photo; site photo; site plan; and narrative. <br />60-day Time Limit: Application accepted on April 10, 2001; Decision deadline is June 9, 2001. <br /> <br />PF3302 - RCA (051401) Page 3 of3 <br />
