During our meeting at Midland Hills Country Club on April 5, 200 I, it was recommended
that the work that was proposed to be done in Walsh Lake be changed by moving the muskrat
barrierlsheetpiling above the Ordinary High Water level for Walsh Lake. It was also recommended that
the amount of fill that would be used to restore the tee adjacent to the chain link fence be reduced to a strip
5' wide with riprap protecting this fill from further erosion.

It was also proposed to place soil into muskrat runs that were undermining another tee that is adjacent to
Walsh Lake. It was decided in the field that these runs would be restored to a location that would
straighten the shoreline of Walsh Lake, but not extend the shoreline waterward of the end of the muskrat
runs.

At the end of the April 5, 2001 meeting a new set of plans were requested from you that could be easily
made from modifying the existing plans. New plans were also requested for the intake of the proposed
pumping system which will accurately depict the intake system. Please note that these plans must be
received by the DNRDivision ofW aters before further processing can occur for Permit Application #200 1-
6081. Please submit these plans to me at: D:N~ Metro Headquarters, 1200 Warner Road, St. Paul, MN
55106.

We look forward to receiving the above infonnation.
