A~~~.s_~D~LC1.r~JAl~1~D <br /> <br />Access and circulation for the existing Northwestern CoI lege <br />campus Is shown on Exhibit B, Existing Campus Plan. Ingress to <br />and egress fram the campus are provided off Lydia Avenue at the <br />south end of the site by a single one-way pair of streets with <br />the Ingress located about 150 feet west of Snelling Avenue, In <br />the southeast corner of the site, and the egress located In the <br />southwest corner of the site. The central portion of the campus <br />I s served by a sl ngl e two-I ane two-way street while the <br />northerly end of the campus Is served by a one-way loop roadway <br />around the perimeter of the classroom area. <br /> <br />No significant modifications or changes In the vehlcul ar access <br />and circulation are proposed for the central or northerly <br />portion of the campus In conjunction with the JIlnended PUD Plan. <br />However, the fol lowing major alterations to the vehicular access <br />and circulation are proposed at the southerly end of the campus <br />as shown on Exhibit A, Amended PUD Plan: <br /> <br />1. AI though the exl stl ng one-way I ngress near the south east <br />corner of the site Is proposed to be retained, a new main <br />entrance Intersecting Lydia Avenue at a right angle Is <br />proposed about 450 feet west of Snelll ng Avenue. It will <br />consist of two (2) entrance lanes and two (2) exit lanes <br />separated by a wide median extending approximately 250 <br />feet north of Lydia Avenue. At the north end of the <br />entrance, the roadway will reconnect to the existing two <br />(2) lane roadway which will be converted to two-way <br />traffic flows. <br /> <br />2. It will <br />extend westerl y past the south sf de of the Center before <br />turnl ng southerl y west of the proposed outdoor ath I etl c <br />fields and Intersecting Lydia Avenue at a 90 degree angle <br />approximately 60 feet east of the existing westbound exit <br />location.
