Roseville Public Works, Environment and <br />Transportation Commission <br />Agenda Item <br />Date: November 25, 2014 Item No: 5 <br />Item Description: PV Solar Energy Discussion <br />Background: <br />Staff has continued to gather more information working with solar panel manufacturers and <br />financial and development partners to understand financial opportunities and implications of PV <br />solar installations on the city campus. We will have representatives from Sundial Energy at the <br />meeting to discuss three available programs for city solar installations. They will discuss some of <br />the differences between the programs. Staff will also present roof opportunities for solar on the <br />city campus and will seek a recommendation from the Commission to the City Council on neat <br />steps for moving one or more solar projects forward. <br />Recommended Action: <br />Recommend neat steps to City Council. <br />Attachments: <br />A: none <br />
