This volume is expected to increase to 25,750 by the
ye~r 2000 according to a previo~s st~~y p~~~cired in 1983 for the
Weste~n Tax Increm€~t Financing District.

The existing ADT volume 0"-, Long Luke ROc.d along the project
frontage is estimated at approximately 5,500. Accarding to the
1983 st.Jdy prepared fc'r the W~stern Tax Increment Finane' ng
District, "this ADT VolulT,e can be expected to increase to as iLJch
as 1~, 000. This volume represents traffic growth which would
occur if ~he deve20pment projects in the TIF District are
completed, as well as development oi other sites between T.H. 36
and County Road C. Backgrcund traffic gro~th in general is also
represented in the projected ,year 2000) ADT voil.lm,:, along LO:1g
Lake Road.

Currently the intersection 0... Long Lake Reae;. and County Road C
operates at a Level of Service (LOS) of C during the p.m. peak
hour. At LOS C, all of the vehicles q~eued at the intersection
wiil clear the intersection in a single cycle of the traffic
signal, with minor delays for some of the movements. Given the
projected increase in p.m. peak hour traffic volumes, the inter-
section is expected to ope~ate ~t tos D after complete
deve] oprnent of the surrounding area, inel uding the s1 te of tt\e
rT~p~~e~ a~t0m~L:Lie dealership.
