If the MPCA determines that the ground water <br /> <br />investigation for the Site or portions of the Site is adequate for purposes of the <br /> <br />ground water investigation requirements of Minn. Stat. 9 115B.175, subd. 3(b) <br /> <br />this deterrn.ination may be used to fulfill ground water investigation requirements <br /> <br />for obtaining Environmental Assurances. The City or its successor shall meet any <br /> <br />other requirements for the Environmental Assurances, such as investigating other <br /> <br />media, exposure pathways, conducting appropriate response actions and other <br /> <br />requirements not explicitly identified in this Agreement that are specific to the <br /> <br />Site and type of Environmental Assurance sought by the City or another person. <br /> <br />VII. PROJECT MANAGERS <br /> <br />The Commissioner and the City shall each designate a Project Manager and <br /> <br />Alternate (hereinafter jointly referred to as Project Manager) for the purpose of <br /> <br />overseeing the implementation of this Agreement. The MPCA Project Manager is Gerald <br /> <br />Stalmke; the MPCA's Alternate is Richard Jolley; the City's Project Manager is Dennis <br /> <br />Welsch, the Alternate is Cathy Bennett. Either party may change its designated Project <br /> <br />Manager by notifying the other party, in writing, of the change. To the maximum extent <br /> <br />possible, communications between the City and the Commissioner concerning the terms <br /> <br />and conditions ofthis Agreement shall be directed through the Project Managers. <br /> <br />VIII. VOLUNTARY AGREEMENT~ <br />RIGHT TO HALT ACTIVITIES OR TERMINATE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />This Agreement shall be implemented under the MPCA's Voluntary Investigation apd <br /> <br />Cleanup (VIe) Program as provided in the LRA and applicable VIC guidance documents, and in <br /> <br />Doc# 1766546\2 <br /> <br />8 <br />
