C. <br /> <br />_~/,Maager A pro~ed: Agenda Section: <br />/U -~tda CONSENT <br /> <br />A request by Bradley Hoff, 1897 Shady Beach Avenue, for a Variance to <br />Section 1012.02B2 of the Roseville City Code (PF3347) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.0 REQUESTED ACTION <br /> <br />1.1 Approve, by Resolution, the request of Bradley Hoff, 1897 Shady Beach Avenue, for <br />a front-yard setback variance to allow for the construction of a six and one-half foot fence <br />(street/east side). <br /> <br />2.0 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />2.1 The Council previously approved, by motion, the Hoff variance to allow a 6 Y2' fence in the <br />front (street side) yard of his home located at 1897 Shady Beach Avenue. <br /> <br />2.2 At the time of approval, the staff was directed to retain the variance until such time as Mr. <br />Hoff completed the removal of the fence on the shoreland side of the property (completed <br />June 25, 2002). <br /> <br />2.3 The City Council may wish to drive by or view the lot from South McCarrons Boulevard <br />where it is clear that Mr. Hoff complied with the Council's wishes by removing portions of <br />his white vinyl fence to the patio adjacent to his house (see attached photos). <br /> <br />3.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />3.1 The Planning Staff, after inspection of the site, recommends approval and signing of the <br />Bradley Hoff front yard fence setback variance. This will complete the paper records of this <br />case. <br /> <br />4.0 SUGGESTED ACTION <br /> <br />4.1 By Resolution, approve the front yard fence setback variance for a 6 Y2 foot front yard fence <br />at 1897 Shady Beach Avenue. <br /> <br />PF3347 ReA 081902.doc Page 1 of 1 <br />
