<br />Document No. <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA}SS <br />County of Ramsey <br />OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER <br />This is the recorded <br />infor;atioTI of the dOCUient <br />recorded in this office at <br />St,Paul on <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF T <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of September 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Klausing, Goedeke, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9940 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1012.02B2 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE, TO ALLOW A SIX FOOT FENCE IN FRONT YARD, ON <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1296 WOODHILL DRIVE (PF 3341). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Clinton Freemen, 1296 Woodhill Drive, has requested a variance to Section <br />1012.01B2 of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a six foot fence in the front <br />yard adjacent to Huron Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Clinton Freeman property is located at 1296 Woodhill Drive, legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />Ashbach Park, Ramsey County, MN, Lot 1, Block 2. (PID # 032923430056). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1012.01B2 (Front Lot Line) limits the height ofa front yard fence <br />to 48 inch ( four foot) maximum fence height, thereby initiating the request for a two foot <br />variance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has determined that the Freemen <br />front yard faces west towards Huron Street as the Code specifies in the case of a comer lot, it <br />shall be the shortest dimension on a public street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing on September 12, <br />2001 regarding the variance request by Mr. Freeman and recommended (6-0) to approve the <br />request, based on findings outlined in Section 4 of the project report dated September 24,2001. <br /> <br />1 <br />
