Mr. Thomas Paschke
September 6, 2001
Page Two

1,234 square feet, which is 177 square feet over the code allowance. Lastly, you note that
the code does not allow an accessory's building square footage to exceed the foot print of
a the live-in portion of the house. You claim that Mr. Telstad's home has been calculated
at 1,140 square feet and the accessory buildings calculated at 1,834 square feet.

I wish to point out that Mr. Telstad's detached garage measures 24 feet by 26 feet and
therefore comprises 624 square feet. Moreover, Mr. Telstad's "tuck under" garage
measures 16 feet by 22 feet, thereby comprising 352 square feet. Clearly, with these
measurements, the square footage of Mr. Telstad's structures falls well within the
requirements of the City Code.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to call
me.

c:

i
I
I
I
vtillia 1.

w~

Enclosure
