Either method must be designated at the time of <br />building permit application. <br /> <br />C. The garden shed must be located no closed than 2-1/2 feet from the west property <br />line. <br /> <br />7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION <br /> <br />7.1 On November 14, 2001, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing <br />regarding the Telstad request. At this hearing, no citizens were present and the <br />Commission had only minor questions regarding the existing shed and notification <br />response, to which the property owner and the City Planner addressed. <br /> <br />7.2 The Roseville Planning Commission voted (5-0) to recommend approval ofa 2-1/2 foot <br />side yard variance from Section 1004.01A8 of the Roseville City Code to allow <br />construction of a 10 foot by 10 foot (100 sq. ft) garden shed on property located at 2993 <br />Fairview A venue, based on the comments and findings in Section 3 and 4, and the <br />conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated November 14,2001, and the use of <br />wood material materials matching the existing garage. <br /> <br />8.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution to approve (approve w/modifications or deny) the request by <br />James Telstad for a 2-112 foot side yard variance to Section 1004.01A8 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow construction of a 10 foot by 10 foot (100 sq. ft) garden <br />shed on property located at 2993 Fairview Avenue, based on the comments and <br />findings in Section 3, 4, and 5, and the conditions of Section 6 of the project report <br />dated November 26, 2001, and the use of wood materials matching the existing <br />garage. <br /> <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (490-2236) <br /> <br />Attachments: Property location map; site photo; proposed plans, draft resolution. <br />Application accepted on October 18, 2001. 60-day review deadline on December 17, 2001. <br /> <br />PF3349 ReA 112601 Page 4 of 4 <br />
