<br />affords residential property owners an opportunity to seek information regarding home <br />improvements and financial assistance. <br /> <br />2.7 Section 7 - Economic & Redevelopment Plans: This section will contain building <br />permit activity for the Year 2001. However, this information will not be available until <br />after January 1, 2002. Also contained in this section are a number of redevelopment <br />projects. Listed below is a progress report of those projects: <br /> <br />. City Center Task Force: Currently in the process of a needs analysis and space <br />programming. Anticipate a bond referendum in 2002. <br /> <br />. Twin Lakes: Approval of amendments to comprehensive plan for business park on <br />June 26, 2001. Approval of amendments by The Metropolitan Council oOn October <br />24,2001. Alternative Urban Area Wide (AUAR) approved by the Environmental <br />Quality Board (EQB). <br /> <br />. Centre Pointe: Approval of amendments to Centre Pointe Planning Unit <br />Development and voluntary Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA W) <br />(additional 122,000 square feet of building area - Veritas) on March 26,2001. <br />Approval of Master Site Plan, PUD Amendment, and Voluntary EA W (15,240 square <br />feet of office space in lieu of 6,000 square foot sit-down restaurant - Solutia <br />Consulting) to be considered by years end. <br /> <br />. Arona Site: Began the Arona/Hamline Neighborhood Master Plan. <br /> <br />. Tax Increment Financing (TIF) section amended due to elimination of four districts; <br />map also changed. <br /> <br />2.8 Section 8 Environmental Protection: Revisions to this section are currently being <br />completed. The Capital Region Watershed formed in 1999. They developed their storm <br />water management plan in 2000. The Plan has been adopted by reference within the <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />2.9 Section 9 - Parks: The Park Systems Plan is currently being revised and will be <br />incorporated in the 2001 affirmation. The Roseville Park and Recreation Department is <br />currently developing an "Environmental Lands Protection Plan" that will also be <br />incorporated into the 2001 affirmation. <br /> <br />2.10 Section 10 - Community Facilities: The Department of Public Works/Engineering has <br />created digital mapping for the City's sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain, and all <br />public easements. These maps will be incorporated into the 2001 affirmation. <br /> <br />2.11 Section 11 Implementation Strategies: The City of Roseville continues as a partner in <br />the North Metro 1-35W Corridor Coalition, a collaborative planning process for the 35W <br /> <br />PF 3350 - RPCA (01/02/02) - Page 3 of 5 <br />
