Homes and businesses in RoseviIie must connect to the City water and
sewer lines, and cannot rely on wells or septic tanks. The Comprehensive Plan projects the
City's future needs for water and sewer based upon plans to build more homes or businesses,
In a typical day, Roseville uses nearly 8 million gallons of water.

All sanitary sewer waste in RoseviUe travels to the Pigs Eye Wastewater Treatment Plant in
St. Paul. Roseville's contract with the St. Paul Water Utility permits the City to withdraw up
to 28 million gallons per day from St. Paul's Dale Street Reservoir, located in eastern Roseville.

13
