Community Development Department
651-490-2279 . fax: 651-490-2931

October 23, 2002

TO: David Sellegren, Fredrikson & Byron; Eric Anderson, Fredrikson & Byron; John
Thompson, Equity Commercial Serv., Inc.; Bill Inserra, St. Paul Properties Inc.;
Bruce Carlson, Northco Real Estate Services; Sean Regan, Premier Bank

RE: City Council Action on the Final Reading of an Ordinance relating to Twin Lakes and
Rezoning of certain properties

The purpose of this letter is to confirm the Roseville City Council's action, at the October 21,
2002 meeting, relating to a request by property owners for clarification of pre-existing, non-
conforming uses and text within the City Code (Section 1005.07, B-6 Mixed Use Business Park
Districts.) After discussion and consideration, the Planning Commission, on October 2,2002,
recommended that the Council deny the request for the Twin Lakes Area B-6 map rezoning.

The Council, by a 5-0 vote, denied the request to rezone the Twin Lakes area (change the zoning
map) from B-1, B-4, 1-1 and 1-2 to B-6 Mixed Use Business Park, in order to allow individual
property owners to corne forth with proposed rezoning, consistent with the Comprehensive Plan,
at a future time.

If you have any questions relative to the Council's action, or would like to discuss this matter
further, please call me at 651.490.2232.

Sincerely,
CITY of ROSEVILLE

Dennis Welsch
Community Development Department
