IT DOES PROVIDE THE COUNTY WITH THE <br />NEEDED POPULATION TO QUALIFY AND INFLUENCES OUR ANNUAL ALLOCATION. <br /> <br />We are pleased with the active participation of several of our <br />municipalities over the past six years. We would like to see more <br />communities who believe they have an eligible project contact us <br />about the possibility of funding. It is interesting to note that <br />every community that has proposed a project that meets the HUD <br />national objectives, can comply with all of the federal rules and <br />regulations, and is prepared to proceed, has received an <br />allocation for their project. In addition, several projects have <br />been undertaken suburban-wide which benefit low and moderate <br />income persons in your individual communities. <br /> <br />In summary, we ask that you return the enclosed cooperation <br />agreements to us no later than October 10, 1991. Either a Council <br />resolution or a statement from your legal counsel indicating the <br />authority for the signatories to enter into the agreement should <br />accompany it.
