Pavers shall be from the same production run as installed materials. <br />PART 2 –PRODUCTS <br />2.1PERMEABLE INTERLOCKING CONCRETE PAVERS <br />A.Manufacturers as recommended by Engineer: <br />1.Borgert Products, Inc. – 8646 Ridgewood Rd., St. Joseph, MN 56374 (800)622-4952 <br />2.Anchor Block Company – 6101 Baker Rd., #205, Minnetonka, MN (800)440-8657 <br />3.Or Approved Equal <br />B.Permeable Concrete Pavers (2 options) as recommended by Engineer: <br />1.“Aqua-Bric”–Borgert Products, Inc. <br />2.“Holland Grand Permeable”– Anchor Block Company <br />3.Or Aproved Equal <br />C.Paver Material Standards: <br />1.Meet the following physical requirements set forth in ASTM C 936 Standard Specification for <br />Solid Concrete Interlocking Paving Units: <br />a.Average compressive strength of three (3) pavers to be greater than 8000 psi with no <br />individual unit under 7250 psi when tested in accordance with ASTM C140. <br />b.Average absorption of three (3) pavers to be less than 5% with no unit greater than 7% <br />when tested in accordance with ASTM C 140. <br />c.Maximum 1.0 % weight loss of five (5) specimens subjected to 50 freeze-thaw cycles <br />when tested in accordance with ASTM C 67. <br />2.2BEDDING AND JOINT AGGREGATE MATERIALS <br />A.Provide 0.25-in (1/4”) crushed Granitewith 90% fractured faces. <br />B.Do not use rounded river gravel/rock. <br />C.Provide 0.25-in (1/4”) crushed Granite conforming to ASTM D448 gradation as shown in Table 1 below: <br />Page 5 of 7 <br /> <br />
