Edge Restraints includes “B612 Curb and Gutter” and “18-inch Ribbon Curb” as noted on Drawings. <br />PART 3 –EXECUTION <br />3.1ACCEPTABLE INSTALLERS <br />A. Paver installation contractorthat meet the requirements setforth in Submittals: Section 1.3-E <br />3.2EXAMINATION <br />A. Acceptance of Site Verification of Conditions: <br />1.General Contractor shall inspect, accept and certify in writing to the paverinstallation contractor <br />thatsite conditions meet specifications for thefollowing items prior to installation of permeable <br />interlocking concrete pavers: <br />a. Verify that subgrade preparation, compacted density and elevations conform to specified <br />requirements and drawings. <br />b. Submit written density test results for soil subgrade to the Owner,General Contractor and <br />paver installation contractor. <br />c. Verify location, type, and elevations of edge restraints and manhole structures. <br />2. Do not proceed with installation of bedding aggregate and permeable interlocking pavers until <br />subgrade conditions are approved or corrected by theGeneral Contractor. <br />3.3PREPARATION <br />A. Verify that the soil subgrade is free from standing water. <br />B. Stockpile bedding/jointaggregate and washed concrete sand materials such that they arefree from <br />standing water, uniformly graded, free of any organic material or sediment, debris, and ready for <br />placement. <br />C. Edge Restraint Preparation: <br />1.Install edge restraints per the Drawings at the indicated elevations <br />3.4INSTALLATION <br />A. General:Do not damage any edge restraints, manhole structures and other drainage appurtenances during <br />installation.
