Nelson
2280 West Highway 36
Roseville, MN 55113

Attn: Mr. Thomas Paschke

Subj ect: Variance application
Reference - Driveway of Frances Anderson

Dear Mr. Paschke,

I have the following concern regarding the application for variance. Most of them you
will note concern the drainage.

1. Currently when it rains heavily the water runs across the existing driveway to our
retaining wall, and then along the wall and down the driveway.
a. I would like some assurance from the city that when the driveway is
replaced it will contain the runoff created by the owners property, without
running to our retaining wall.
2. Line 6 of the permit application states "Replace existing as is."
a. What exactly does this mean.
3. Property value.
a. Weare also concerned about possible impact on our property value.
4. If we do not contest this issue at this time would we have any recourse regarding
new owners of the property and loud radios in the driveway etc.. As this
driveway is next to our bedrooms.
a. Item 9.j. - vehicles adjacent

(]Iii)

~t;lSOn
