The Community Development Staff has <br />determined that this variance, if granted, will not alter the essential character ofthe locality, <br />nor adversely affect the public health, safety, or general welfare, of the city or adjacent <br />properties. <br /> <br />6.0 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />6.1 Based on the information provided and the findings in Section 5 of this project report, the <br />Community Development Staff recommends approval of a 14 foot front yard VARIANCE to <br />Section 1009.03M and Section 1009.04A2 ofthe Roseville City Code for Sunrise Assisted <br />Living and Dan Stock (Press Gym) to allow the installation of a second monument sign at 2555 <br />Snelling Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />A. The sign must no larger than 48 square feet in size and of a V -shaped design with 2 - 4 <br />foot by 6 foot sign panels. <br /> <br />B. The sign must be installed a minimum of 1 foot from the property line adjacent to Snelling <br />Avenue in the northeast portion of the parcel. <br /> <br />C.
