We will match the front brick and siding (probably residing the whole <br />house ). We will include single hung windows on each side of the garage addition, to break <br />up the wall. Gutters will be added draining to the front of the addition. <br /> <br />We prefer option 2, as it would be a more convenient garage and provide us with more <br />storage space. It would also give us room for future expansion of living space into a portion <br />of the existing garage. We believe it would be less of a visual impact on the neighborhood, <br />especially the neighbors directly to the north and east than Option 1 with a garage and long <br />driveway running along the back yard property line. It would also leave us with 230 square <br />feet of space for future expansion without requiring an additional variance of the Maximum <br />Total Surface Area of30%. This could allow the expansion of other living space, deck or <br />patio. <br />
