<br /> <br />Community Development Department <br />651-490-2279 + fax: 651-490-2931 <br /> <br />August 19, 2003 <br /> <br />Marian & James Korf <br />1047 Burke Avenue <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: City COllncil action on Variance request; 1047 Burke A <br /> <br />(PF#3508) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. &Mrs. Korf: <br /> <br />This letter is to confirm that on August 18, 2003 the Roseville City Council approved your <br />request for a 575 square foot (5%) Variance to Section 1004.01A6 and a 7 foot 6 inch front yard <br />Variance to Section 1004.01 E to allow the construction of a porch addition on to the existing <br />home. <br /> <br />The Roseville City Council adopted a Resolution (a draft copy of which is attached) approving <br />your request, subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />A. The parcel being limited to an impervious coverage maximum of 3,577 square <br />feet or 35%. <br /> <br />B. The porch addition being limited to the size indicated on the submitted plans, <br />including being limited to a 7foot 6 inch extension on the front (south) of the <br />home and a 5 foot 4 inch extension on the side (west) of the home. <br /> <br />C. Gutters and downspouts must be installed along the eves of the porch to direct <br />runoff into the front and side yard ofthe parcel. <br /> <br />D. The review and approval of a building permit must be consistent with the <br />approved plans and variances. <br /> <br />You will receive a final copy of the resolution upon its execution by the appropriate City <br />officers. Please review the conditions listed within the draft resolution. The City will record a <br />similar copy of this resolution with Ramsey County. Recording of the resolution against your <br />property binds you and/or other succeeding property owners to all the terms and conditions <br />stipulated in the City Council's approved resolution. <br /> <br />I have forwarded a copy of this letter, resolution and your building permit to Gerry Proulx, <br />Residential Building Inspector for final review and approval.
