There will be a link between 12 the two showrooms. A hotel is adjacent to this site. Is 26 the Hummer loud? (Same as on road). 27 28 Phillip Wallberg explained the obstacle test track, climbing up a short wall or boulder. 29 30 Member Stone asked what the maximum speed on the test track is (5-10 mph). What is the 31 operation standard? (An employee will accompany a test driver). The test track is 6 to 8 feet 32 lower than the Super 8 Motel parking lot. 33 34 Member Bakeman asked for details (dimensions) of the track. Not available at this time, but a 35 one-way street. Is there a setback?(minimum 5 feet). 36 37 Chairman Mulder asked about width, depth, length of track. 38 39 Member Stone said the test track is for slow learning. Has this been done elsewhere in the 40 community? (no) What is the lighting standard for this area (parking lot lighting). 41 42 Member Peper noted that Highway 36 already has much noise. 43 44 Member Ipsen asked if Super 8 has been notified (notified, but no comments received). 45 46 Bill Sievers, construction supervisor, explained the test track is 10 to 15 feet wide and will be 47 used for learning. There will be little impact on the Super 8 because of the hillside. Screening 48 materials are not known at this time. 49 50 Motion: Member Peper moved, seconded by Member Bakeman, to recommend approval of a 51 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT based on the findings of Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of
