(Ord. <br />854,9-10-1979; amd. 1995 Cade) <br /> <br />1007.03: 1-2 GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS: <br /> <br />The General Industrial District is designed primarily for manufacturing, assembling, and <br />fabricatian activities including large scale ar specialized industrial ar matar freight aperatians, <br />whase external physical effects will be felt by surraunding districts. The 1-2 District is structured <br />to' permit the manufacturing, processing and campaunding af semi-finished ar finished praducts <br />fram raw material as well as fram previausly prepared material. The 1-2 General Industrial <br />District is intended far certain areas designated as I Industrial areas in the Camprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />A. Permitted, Accessary, and Canditianal Uses: See Use Chart, Sectian 1007.015. The <br />following uses, shown in Section 1007.015, shall apply to all land and buildings that may be erected, <br />converted, or structurally altered in this zoning district. <br /> <br />Boo Starage: <br />1. Within Enclosed Structure: The follawing storage shall be canducted wholly within an <br />nclased structure: <br />a. Inoperative equipment, with "inaperative" being interpreted to' mean a state af <br />malfunctian, physical deteriaratian or some ather physical canditian rendering the <br />equipment incapable afbeing properly utilized for its intended purpase and in need of <br />repairs, dispasal ar replacement. <br />b. Inaperative vehicles, with "inaperative" being interpreted to' mean a state af <br />malfunctian, deteriaratian ar ather physical canditian rendering the vehicle incapable af <br />mavement under its own pawer. Such vehicles wauld include thase involved in accidents, <br />awaiting engine repairs, in need afbady repair ar painting and similar canditians. <br />2. Within Salid Opaque Wall Or Fence: The fallawing starage shall be canducted whally <br />within an area enclased by a salid apaque wall ar fence nO' less than eight feet (8') in <br />height and only in a 1-2 General Industrial District: <br />a. Building materials and lumber sales. <br />b. Areas used for rental yards. <br />c. Machinery sales, and bulk firewaad sales. <br />d. Dirt, sand, gravel and rock sales. <br />e.
