<br />The General Industrial District is desi2ned primarily for manufacturin2, assemblin2, and
<br />fabrication activities includin2 lar2e scale or specialized industrial or motor frei2ht
<br />operations, whose external physical effects will be felt by surroundin2 districts. The 1-2
<br />District is structured to permit the manufacturin2, processin2 and compoundin2 of semi-
<br />finished or finished products from raw material as well as from previously prepared
<br />material. The 1-2 General Industrial District is intended for certain areas desi2nated as I
<br />Industrial areas in the Comprehensive Plan.
