<br /> <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />September 23, 2003 <br /> <br />Joseph Gleason <br />744 Heinel Drive <br />Roseville, Mn. 55113 <br /> <br />RE: Setback Permit for Driveway Addition (PF 3530j <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Gleason: <br /> <br />On Tuesday, September 23,2003, the City of Roseville Development Review Committee (DRC) <br />held the hearing regarding your request to use a 2' -0" setback for the driveway for the new boat <br />storage area, along the west wall of your garage. No neighbor was present. The DRC <br />recommended approval of the Setback Permit for this issue. <br /> <br />The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I concur with the reasoning set forth by the DRC <br />and have approved your Driveway Setback Permit. I also concur with the DRC conditions <br />attached to the Setback Permit, which conditions stipulate that: <br /> <br />~ Property irons along the west property line must be staked and the property line <br />easily identified in the areas where the driveway will be built before the permit is <br />issued. <br /> <br />~ Because of the proximity of neighbors bedroom windows, the new parking space <br />south and west of the existing garage front door will be used only for summer <br />seasonal storage of a boat or other recreational vehicles. Other motorized vehicles <br />may be parked north of the garage door on the new driveway. <br /> <br />~ The driveway must be installed to properly direct roof and parking drainage away <br />(north) from neighboring property, allowing water to run down your driveway or <br />into the front yard, away from other structures. <br /> <br />~ Protect the west property line with an erosion control fence while under <br />construction. <br /> <br />~ Submittal of a scaled site plan with the building permit and/or excavation <br />application that indicates how the parcel's drainage will be handled. <br /> <br />2660 Civic Center Drive .:.
