<br />17. Approximately 25 % of all Roseville households are occupied by 1 <br />person. Half of the owner occupied singles are over 65 years in age. <br /> <br />18. Children represent approximately 5 % of the multi-family population <br />while 28% (2,539) are seniors over the age of 55. <br /> <br />19. The number of multi-family complexes where children represent more <br />than 10% of the population is limited to 15 of ~ total complexes. The <br />number of multi-family complexes where seniors represent more than <br />10% of the population is 42 of~ total complexes, explaining the <br />different service needs of some of these complexes. <br /> <br />20. The top ten multi-family complexes (in terms of number of residents) <br />range from 447 to 262 and average 310 residents per complex- each a <br />small neighborhood. However, the majority are smaller with less than <br />100 residents per complex. <br /> <br />21. Approximately 56% of the multi-family renters has lived in their <br />current home for less than 5 years. When renters move, 66 % move to <br />another rental property and 30 % move to a single family home. <br />Between 22-25 % of all moves by multi family residents are to another <br />home in Roseville. <br /> <br />22. Owners of multi-family housing (Condos, Townhomes, Coopentives) <br />represent 25 % of the total multi-family units. Of the owners, 56 % have <br />lived in their home for more than 5 years. When condominium owners <br />move, 30% move to another condo while nearly 55% move to a rental <br />housing unit. <br /> <br />23.
