Your request, seeking an 11 foot variance <br />1004.02D4 ofthe Roseville City to allow the construction of a deck and porch on to the west <br />side of your home was recommended for approval. However, after taking action on the next <br />agenda item, the Commission became aware of an adjacent property owner's opposition to your <br />request. <br /> <br />Noting that the agenda had listed your request later on the agenda, the adjacent resident arrived <br />soon after the Commission took action on your request and was prepared to make a presentation <br />to the Commission opposing the encroachment variance. The Planning Commission discussed <br />the matter and unanimously took action to rescind their recommendation of approval, voting to <br />continue your variance hearing to February 4 and to extend the 60-day review time line. The <br />Commission also requested staff to re-publish the public hearing and resident notification. <br /> <br />I write to inform you that your variance request will no longer be on the January 26, 2004 City <br />Council agenda for final action. Instead; the request has been continued to the February 4, 2004 <br />Planning Commission meeting for an additional hearing and recommendation. I apologize for <br />any inconveniences that this action may have created in you process.
