Purpose. The Roseville City Code, Title 10, Sections 1011.01 through <br />13 1011.05 and Section 1002.02 are hereby amended by revising language regarding <br />14 nonconforming uses and structures to provide more clarity and ease of use of this section. <br /> <br />15 SECTION 2. Section 1002.02 (Definition of "Nonconforming Structure") is hereby <br />16 amended as follows: <br /> <br />17 NONCONFORMING USE OR STRUCTURE: A nonconforming use or structure is <br />18 any use. placement. or arrangement of land and/or structures legally existing prior to the <br />19 enactment of a Code provision prohibiting such use or structure. <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 SECTION 3. CHAPTER 1011 and Section 1011 (Title) is hereby amended to read as <br />22 follows: <br /> <br />23 CHAPTER 1011 <br />24 NONFORMING USES AND STRUCTURES <br />25 <br />26 SECTION 4. Section 1011, subsections 1011.01 through 1011.05 are hereby <br />27 amended as follows: <br />28 <br /> <br />29 1011.01: DEFINITION: <br /> <br />30 A nonconforming use or structure. See definition in Section 1002.02. <br /> <br />31 1011.02: EXISTING STRUCTURES OR USES: <br /> <br />32 A. A pre-existing nonconforming use or structure may be continued but may not be extended, <br />33 expanded, intensified or changed, unless to a conforming use.
