<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, MilfIlesota, was held on the 15th day of December, 2003, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Kough, Maschka, Klausing, Schroeder, <br />Kysylyczyn <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10168 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARIANCE TO SECTION 1016.16B1 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR JIM BADZINSKI <br />385 SOUTH OW ASSO BOULEVARD (PF3540). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Jim Badzinski has requested a VARIANCE to Section 10 l6.16B 1 of the <br />Roseville City Code to allow the construction of an attached deck on the lake shore side of the <br />principal structure he owns; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Badzinski parcel is located at 381 South Owasso Boulevard, and legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />.-/ Lot 11, Lake Owasso Villa <br />PIN: 01-29-23-21-0002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, 1016.16Bl (Structure Design Standards - Bluff Impact Zones) reads: <br />"Structures and accessory facilities, except stairways and landing, shall not be placed within <br />bluff impact zones; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the deck proposed by Mr. Badzinski would be located within the bluff <br />impact zone (12 feet from the top of the bluff and 18 feet within the bluff impact zone); and <br /> <br />1 <br />
